WHAT HAPPENED?
According to BILD, via Tribuna, discussions between Bayern and Liverpool have progressed to a stage where 'concrete' figures have been exchanged as the German giants prepare a 'formal offer' for the 28-year-old.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Although Diaz still has two years left on his Liverpool contract and recently said he is "very happy" at the Premier League champions, links with Barcelona have not gone away. Bayern are eyeing a replacement for Leroy Sane and now they appear to be keen on the ex-FC Porto ace.
